Candidacy Statement

I am running for a position on the Air Force Academy Association of Graduates Board of Directors because I believe that the Academy and AOG has been positive force for the graduate community and I feel a duty to serve this institution in this capacity. The Air Force and the Air Force Academy have a long and storied tradition of integrity, service and excellence. While we move further into the 21st Century, we will face new challenges and have exciting opportunities to transform and develop as a community. As we explore the future and adapt to an evolving world, we must also be mindful of our heritage. Stewarding our shared legacy as we look toward the future should be a consideration as we make decisions for the organization. While we each contribute our wonderful, critical and unique talents, our traditions and heritage bind us together as a cohesive unit. I am fully committed to serving as a board member and will leverage my time, skills, experience and connections, both personally and professionally to advance the AOG Board and Mission. I am motivated to serve and have the energy, desire and drive to be a member of this board.
