Peter Horban Class Of 2011

Biography

I am a 2011 graduate from Tiger Ten (Huzzah!).  My father is class of 1981 and my sister is class of 2009, both from CS-26.  Since graduating, I graduated from pilot training at Vance AFB, OK and flew C-130s at Yokota AB, Japan and Dyess AFB, TX before transitioning to the KC-46 at McConnell AFB, KS, where I am currently stationed. I have over 2,000 flight hours with nearly 300 in combat.  I have been deployed to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I received my Master of Business Administration with a focus in entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State in 2018. In my free time, I love to travel, cook, and watch movies and Air Force football. My wife, Mary, is in medical school in Wichita. We have two children Blaise (2) and Nora (6 mo).

Candidacy Statement

I am a 2011 grad (Olds!) from Tiger Ten (Huzzah!).  I would love to be on the board of directors for the AOG so that I can help the cadet wing and graduates.  We have such a spectacular institution and community.  I want to ensure the AOG is equal to its constituency.  I will ensure that I attend the board meetings because I’m always looking for an excuse to go back to where the air is rare!
