Grads Help with Cadet Fieldhouse Vaccinations
The Cadet Fieldhouse was converted into a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Jan. 29, 2021. Permanent party members, faculty and some cadets started receiving shots.
USAFA graduates were on hand as volunteers to help coordinate the traffic flow of people arriving to get a shot. Many of those grads brought along their Checkpoints magazines. Volunteers were coordinated, in part, by the Rampart Chapter of the AOG. A steady stream of patients came through the clinic throughout the day, and with the help of these volunteers about 1300 vaccinations were provided in seven hours.
