Welcome to the USAFA family! Stop by Doolittle and get connected

Inprocessing Day at the United States Air Force Academy can be overwhelming to the uninitiated. That’s why the Association of Graduates (AOG) and the Colorado Parents Club have teamed up to present FamFest from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28.

Family members and friends of Class of 2022 cadet candidates are invited to stop by the AOG’s Doolittle Hall that day to be experience their first taste of what it means to be part of the Academy family.

After dropping basic cadets at the Cadet Field House, family members can unwind and enjoy some free food, served up by the Colorado Parents Club. Experienced Academy families will be on hand to provide hugs, offer advice and lend an empathetic ear.

The Association of Graduates (AOG) is your one-stop shop for all 2022 and Air Force merchandise, staying open until 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Throughout the day, the Association of Graduates will have games and giveaways for all in attendance. FamFest attendees also will have a chance to write a first letter to their cadet, which will be delivered to basics during Basic Cadet Training.

Family members can enjoy a tour of the Heritage Trail, adjacent to Doolittle Hall, and experience the history of Air Force Academy’s graduates.

In addition, family members will have the opportunity to sign up for the AOG’s Family Plan membership, which includes the all-important WebGuy program. The USAFA Endowment along with several valuable vendors also will be on hand to support all in attendance that day.

FamFest at Doolittle Hall is at 3116 Academy Drive, on the Academy Grounds.
