Visit the Academy

ACCESSING USAFA: The regulations for accessing the U.S. Air Force Academy have changed. To access the Academy, U.S. citizens must present a valid REAL ID and should request access through a sponsoring organization for specific events like tours, sporting events or Planetarium visits. Approved visitors will receive a virtual pass and may enter through either the north gate or south gate between 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. The virtual pass is for only one event at a time. Foreign nationals must be sponsored by a DoD ID cardholder and complete in-person processing with a physical passport at the Pass and Registration Office (PRO), which may take up to 72 hours. For any questions, contact the PRO at (719) 333-0441 or 10SFS.S5B@us.af.mil.
