Adjacent to the Southeast Asia Memorial Pavilion

The Southeast Asia Plaza of Heroes Dedication Ceremony, honoring the Air Force Academy's Vietnam veterans, was held November 6, 2015 on the Heritage Trail at Doolittle Hall. The event honored the Academy's only Medal of Honor recipient, Capt. Lance Sijan '65, and its 16 Air Force Cross recipients and 205 Silver Star recipients. Several surviving medal recipients and their family members attended, along with Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh III '76. View photos from dedication ceremony.
