Discover Checkpoints Online
Current Issue: September 2025

Checkpoints magazine is the U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation's signature publication. From its humble beginnings in black-and-white news print to the award-winning publication you are reading today, the magazine has evolved into a visual showcase of USAFA and its graduates. Yet despite its evolutionary track across the decades, Checkpoints still seeks the same objective that it did at the time of its inception: to tell immersive Academy and graduate stories.
No matter how you read Checkpoints — whether in print or online — the content is as strong as ever, and we hope you enjoy it!
