AOG Governance and Elections

The bylaws establish a governance structure with a 16-member Board of Directors and a seven-person Nominating Committee. Elections are held biennially in odd-numbered years.

The Nominating Committee is a standing committee of the Board of Directors and includes two directors and five non-director members. The committee actively seeks and maintains a pool of qualified candidates for board service. Any AOG member willing to fulfill the requirements of Directors may submit a nomination packet following the nomination policies and procedures. Members may also be nominated directly to the ballot by petition of 25 members.
