Keyser, Marshall join Endowment board of directors

The United States Air Force Academy Endowment is pleased to welcome two new board directors: Jon Keyser ’04 and Sarah (Saxer) Marshall ’93.

Jon Keyser

Jon Keyser is the director of legal affairs for Motor Company Product & Operations for Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His legal career also includes working as a corporate attorney at Harley-Davidson, Inc. and as a senior associate at Hogan Lovells law firm in Denver, Colorado. Keyser also served as a state representative in the Colorado House of Representatives.  

A 2004 graduate of the Air Force Academy, Keyser went on to serve in Afghanistan and Iraq, where his actions earned him the Bronze Star for meritorious service. He continues to serve as an intelligence officer and major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Keyser and his wife, Emma, live in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, with their two children, Jack and Elleanor.

Sarah Marshall 

Sarah (Saxer) Marshall was a partner at Farrell Marsh & Co., which subsequently merged with Academy Securities, until her retirement in 2015. Prior to Farrell Marsh, she was a private equity investment associate at CMS Companies and Safeguard Scientifics, both near Philadelphia.

A 1993 graduate of the Air Force Academy, Marshall served in the Air Force for five years, attaining the rank of captain. Among other assignments, she served as a program manager leading a 16-person team assigned to maximizing the precision strike capability of the B-2 stealth bomber.

Marshall is active on the boards of HelpUsAdopt.org and the Opera Company of Philadelphia. She and her husband, Brad, live in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with their children, Adam and Amelia. Her daughter, 2nd Lt. Caitlin Sullivan, graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2016.

“I welcome Jon and Sarah to the Endowment Board of Directors,” says board chairman Jack Kucera. “They bring added diversity, unique experience and a next-generation perspective to the Endowment. I look forward to working with them to advance the mission of the United States Air Force Academy.”
