UPDATE ON CADET CHEATING INVESTIGATION

The number of cadets who are under investigation for cheating on a Fourth Class Knowledge Test has not changed since the last update (Feb. 15, 2007). 

Since cadet interviews began on Feb. 2, a total of 39 cases have been investigated.  Thirty-six cases, 24 of them involving athletes, have been forwarded for further investigation following normal procedures in the Cadet Honor System.  Of the 36, 24 cadets have admitted to cheating, and 12 have denied it.  All cases involve only Fourth Class cadets, members of the Class of 2010.
