Class Projects Make a Difference!

Recently, the Class of '66 completed their class project supporting the Memorial Pavilion in the Academy's cemetery. The class nearly doubled their original goal, proving a good plan, strong class leadership, and a partnering relationship with the Association of Graduates make great things happen.  '66 successfully contributed to the naming opportunity of the Services Room in the Academy's new Memorial Pavilion. They also committed a significant portion of their project toward supporting a maintenance endowment for the facility.                     

The AOG will proudly dedicates the long awaited Memorial Pavilion at the USAFA Cemetery on May 11, 2007. This will be an incredible and memorable day.  From that day forward families will no longer be subjected to Colorado's unpredictable weather as they honor the departed brothers and sisters of the Long Blue Line.

The Memorial Pavilion Services Room class project is complimented by a Composure Room (funded by the Class of '83), and accessed by the Memorial Pavilion Entry way and Turnaround (gifted by the Class of '84). This is the second Academy facility gifted by graduates.  The Association of Graduates' Doolittle Hall was completed and occupied by the AOG in the early 1990s..
