Sabre Society
In the spirit of building leaders of character for the nation, the Sabre Society was established in 1995 to provide extraordinary support for the Academy. Upon its founding, the Society comprised a small group of supporters committing their generous gifts to the Academy.
Today, the Sabre Society includes graduates, parents and friends who believe in our mission and make leadership gifts of $1,000 or more to the Air Force Academy Fund.
These contributions provide important undesignated support to the Air Force Academy and the Association of Graduates.

Sabre Society donors generously provide critical resources for the Superintendent to meet current Academy needs and pursue emerging opportunities. Leadership gifts to the Air Force Academy Fund enable the AOG, with Academy leadership, to invest in new ideas, technologies and activities that support graduate and heritage programs, and Academy character and leadership development, academic, and athletic programs.
In today's highly competitive environment, private contributions can supplement federal funding in important ways, creating new and enhancing existing programs that prepare cadets to be leaders of character for our Air Force and the nation.
Generous contributors to the Air Force Academy Fund allow the Academy to enjoy its well-deserved reputation of providing a world-class education and an exceptional military training experience for cadets. Private undesignated contributions positively impact the lives of cadets and support many graduate programs and activites. Without your support, many of these programs would not exist.

In addition to the honorary recognition, Sabre Society donors:
- Have the satisfaction of knowing their gifts directly impact cadet and graduate programs
- Are offered opportunities to attend Sabre Society appreciation events at the Academy and around the country, allowing donors to interact with the Superintendent and Academy staff, cadets, and Sabre Society colleagues
- Receive special recognition as a Sabre Society Donor by having their names listed in the annual AOG Donor Report
