Giving

WE STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY IS A VITAL NATIONAL TREASURE.

Increasingly, though, the resources available to the service academies, like all public institutions, are inadequate to keep pace with the requirements of a modern university. No longer can the Academy depend solely on public funding to attract the best minds and provide the best educational experience. The Air Force Academy, like all other great public universities, now requires significant private support to maintain its status as an elite institution. That is why graduates, parents, and friends of the Academy are standing up to do what they can to ensure the Academy has the resources it needs to excel. This is also why USAFA Endowment has made the act of giving to the Academy as personally fulfilling and efficient as possible for every donor.

The Endowment is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to providing transformative private support to the Air Force Academy.  The development staff works in support of fulfilling these needs by raising funds that are not otherwise supported through government funding.

Gifts to the Academy can are represented by five major areas:

Air Force Academy Fund : Annual unrestricted support, including Sabre Society commitments.

Corporate Gifts : Gifts by corporations and foundations intended to accomplish a specific philanthropic goal.

Class Gifts: Class gifts are special projects designated by the class to commemorate their graduation and service.

Planned Gifts : Tax-efficient gifts, including bequests and trusts, given through your estate.

Major Gifts : Large, multi-year commitments, often intended for a specific philanthropic goal.

In addition, your gift may qualify for a match through your employer and our Matching Gift Program.
