Air Force officials launch new mentoring program
Officials from the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center and the U.S. Air Force Academy launched a new mentoring program when they signed a memorandum of agreement March 17 at the Academy.

Kirkuk Airmen commemorate five year OIF anniversary
Hundreds of Airmen convened to commemorate the fifth year anniversary of Operation Iraqi Freedom March 20 here.

C3C Abbey Rogers earns Falcon's first-ever MPSF Gymnast of the Year award
C3C Abigail Rogers was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Co-Gymnast of the Year, the league commissioner announced today (April 1). It is the first-ever such honor for the Falcons' women's gymnastics program.

AFA Fencer will travel to Italy for 2008 Junior World Championships
Air Force Academy fencer Peter French will travel to Acireale, Italy, to compete in the 2008 Junior World Championships, April 6-14. French earned his spot on the team after winning the men's individual epee silver medal (third) at the Junior World Cup in Basel, Switzerland in January and winning the championship at the 2008 Junior Olympics in February in Charlotte, N.C.

Six nationally televised games and visits to Falcon Stadium by Southern Utah, Utah, Navy, New Mexico, Colorado State and BYU highlight the 2008 Air Force football schedule, released today by the Mountain West Conference.
