Progress at academies noted
A new Pentagon report cited "tremendous progress" and "robust" efforts to overcome sexual assault and sexual harassment at the nation's military service academies.
 
Singapore's Nanyang Technological University may seem worlds away from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. But thanks to a new cooperative research and development agreement, or CRADA, between Nanyang and the Academy, the world has gotten a lot smaller.

Pilot, '96, inducted into Women's Aviation Hall of Fame
In the months since her last flight as the Thunderbirds No. 3 right wing pilot, Maj. Nicole Malachowski has had a hard time putting her accomplishment of being the first woman to fly on a U.S. military flight demonstration team into a proper perspective.

Shuttle Endeavour's pilot an AFA graduate
As Shuttle Endeavour flies its mission, an Air Force Academy graduate will be calling all the shots from the pilot's seat.  Col. Gregory H. Johnson, a 1984 grad, has been with NASA since 1998.

AcademyWomen hosts its inaugural 2008 Spring Leadership Summit
In partnership with the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI), AcademyWomen will host its inaugural 2008 Spring Leadership Summit on the NMMI Campus in Roswell , NM, from April 18 - 20, 2008.

Hockey: Falcons advance to NCAA with AHA crown
Josh Frider's goal 56 seconds into the second overtime lifted the U.S. Air Force Academy to a 5-4 win over Mercyhurst College in the championship game of the Atlantic Hockey Association Tournament March 16 at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester.
 
C3C Abbey Rogers earns MPSF Gymnast of the Week honors
After an impressive weekend of competition, C3C Abigail Rogers was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week, the league office announced Mar. 17. It is the second honor of the season for Rogers, who also earned the weekly award on Jan. 21.
 
Air Force men's Gymnastics concludes regular season at Nebraska
The No. 15 Air Force men's gymnastics team wraps up the regular season on Saturday, March 22, when it travels to Lincoln, Neb., for a dual meet with the 10th-ranked Cornhuskers. It will be the third meeting of the season between the two programs. 

Air Force sends four wrestlers to NCAA Championships
The Air Force wrestling team heads to the NCAA Championships, being held in St. Louis, Mo., this week, March 20-22.
 
Air Force announces spring soccer schedule
The Falcons open spring play this Thursday, March 20 at Loyola Marymount, followed by a game against Cal-State Dominguez Hills on Friday, March 21 at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles.
