Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Gene Lupia '67
Gene Lupia '67 is President of CM2M Hill's Enterprise Delivery Group, and previously president of their Environmental Services Business Group, which he joined in 2000. During his tenure revenues more than doubled. The Professional Engineer has more than 45 years of leadership experience in public and private-sector facility programming and cost management.
Mr. Lupia graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a civil engineering degree in 1967 and also holds a master's degree from Oklahoma State. He rose to the rank of Major General, at which time he was responsible for managing over $6 billion in facility development, operations, maintenance, and environmental programs at bases around the world. In this role, he interacted with Congress, government agencies, communities, and the media. At one time, he was responsible for managing the Protection Industrial Capability Program for the National Security Council. His Air Force retirement was in 1999 and he continues to reside in Virginia with his wife, Diane.
