Falcon Heritage Forum - General Butler Speech

Retired General George Lee Butler, '61, spoke to an audience of cadets and special guests during the Falcon Heritage Forum put on by the Air Force Academy's Center for Character Development and the Association of Graduates, October 19, 2007. The theme of this years forum was "Your Heroes of USAFA," and honored past Academy graduates who had been awarded the Air Force Cross, and the one graduate who recieved the Medal of Honor.

General Butler spoke to cadets about key elements he learned as a cadet at the Academy which prepared him for his more than 30 years in the Air Force, and encouraged them to employ the lessons of honor, integrity, ethics, self-discipline and compassion in their own Air Force careers, as such traits are at the core of their profession.
