Capital Improvement Funds
The Academy is revered as one of our nation’s great examples of modern American academic architecture. While renowned for its distinctive design, our institution’s true greatness lies in its functionality—its ability to produce outstanding leaders of character. In order to recruit, retain and train the best new generation of leaders, the Academy must build and maintain first-class facilities, to accommodate today’s needs and to effectively prepare for those of the future.
A series of planned capital improvements to the facilities and infrastructure of the 50-year-old campus reflect the growing demand for cadet facilities, the maintenance and modernization of existing structures, and the Academy’s expanded initiatives in education, athletics and military training. Private support enables the Academy to effectively expedite these improvements, while leveraging limited federal support.
