The Sabre Society
The Sabre Society was founded in 1995 to recognize the unique group of Academy supporters who make annual unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more to the Air Force Academy Fund. The Sabre Society includes graduates, parents and friends who share an ongoing commitment to uphold the Air Force Academy’s reputation for academic and leadership excellence.
Upon its founding, the Society comprised a group of supporters committing their generous gifts to one of the upper recognition levels within the Air Force Academy Fund.
Today, the Sabre Society includes graduates, parents and friends who believe in our mission and make leadership gifts of $1,000 or more to the Air Force Academy Fund.
Sabre Society gifts are annual, unrestricted gifts that are used to support the vital missions of the Association of Graduates and the USAFA Endowment in support of the United States Air Force Academy. Additionally, these essential funds provide direct support to the Academy for immediate strategic needs identified by the Superintendent and the Academy senior leadership.
Sabre Society Recognition Levels:
Leadership Circle $25,000 +
Ambassador $10,000 - $24,999
Benefactor $5,000 - $9,999
Patron $2,500 - $4,999
Donor $1,000 - $2,499

In addition to the honorary recognition, Sabre Society donors:
- Have the satisfaction of knowing their gifts provide for the future prosperity of the Air Force Academy.
- Are offered opportunities to attend Sabre Society appreciation events at the Academy and around the country, allowing donors to interact with the Superintendent and Academy staff, cadets, and Sabre Society colleagues.
- Receive special recognition as a Sabre Society Donor by having their names listed in the Endowment's Annual Donor Report.
